Volunteer at IRIS
Volunteers are an invaluable part of the IRIS team, helping us welcome and walk alongside refugees as they begin new lives in Connecticut. Our volunteers are community members, professionals, students, retirees, and others who serve with refugees and the IRIS staff in a variety of ways.
Please click HERE to see which volunteer roles are available. Applicants must be 17 years or older and able to commit to a minimum of 6 months. Positions are filled on a rolling basis. Please note that all positions are unpaid, and occur primarily Monday through Friday in the morning, afternoon, or evening.
